What the three cages do—and what makes Primus different

Primus gives a reader an unusually concrete way to follow a multi-axis mechanism: the three visible cages have different rotation periods, so their relative positions keep changing. The useful distinction is architectural. Becsei’s specification singles out the jewelled support of the cages instead of the usual ball-bearing approach. That is a more informative subject than repeating a claim of superior accuracy: the examined material establishes the construction, not a controlled timing advantage. The object should also be treated as a documented one-off, rather than allowing a numbering inscription to turn it into evidence of an entire delivered series. 12

Bexei becomes Aaron Becsei without acquiring a new past

The two names lead back to one atelier practice. The older website explicitly identifies Bexei as Becsei’s atelier, while the newer presentation calls the full-name identity a new chapter. Pameus makes this transition more than a logo story because the credits expose a collaboration: Coppoletta’s dial and buckle artistry sits beside Becsei’s case and movement engineering. A later article can explain that division without treating the designer as the movement’s inventor, or the rebrand as a new company foundation. The evidence dates the public launch; the legal identity and first customer deliveries remain separate questions. 341

Ownership and continuity

The 2026 name change is presented as the next chapter of Becsei’s existing practice, not a newly established historical lineage. 34
