The repository defaults to no audience analytics, advertising tracker, user account, or newsletter collection form. The generated configuration status above states what this particular build enables. Interactive tool calculations run locally in your browser. Ordinary web hosting and email still involve limited technical or contact data, explained below.

This policy describes the Enjoy Watches site configuration as of August 24, 2026. If a data-collecting feature is added, this page and any relevant notice should be updated before or when that feature is enabled.
Information you choose to send
If you email hello@enjoywatches.com, we receive the information in that message. This normally includes your email address, display name, message, timestamp, routing information, and any attachments or details you choose to provide.
Please do not send information that is unnecessary for the question. In particular, redact home addresses, financial account numbers, identity-document numbers, full watch serial numbers, and unrelated information about other people. Enjoy Watches does not need a physical watch, original certificate, or irreplaceable document to receive a correction request.
We use correspondence to answer questions, assess corrections and source submissions, maintain an appropriate record of editorial decisions, prevent abuse, and meet obligations that apply to us. We do not use an appraisal inquiry to create a valuation profile; individual appraisals are not offered.
Technical information from visiting the site
When a browser requests any website, the hosting provider, content-delivery network, domain or security provider, and network operators may process technical data needed to deliver and protect the service. Depending on the deployed host, logs can include:
- IP address;
- date and time;
- requested path and referring page;
- browser, device, and operating-system information;
- response status and transferred data; and
- security or rate-limiting events.
The configuration status above states whether Enjoy Watches adds an audience-analytics script to a build. With or without that optional script, we may have limited access to operational logs supplied by a host for reliability, abuse prevention, and security. The provider’s own processing and retention depend on the service used to deploy the site.
Analytics, advertising, and newsletters
The site supports optional configuration for Plausible Analytics and a newsletter endpoint. Both are blank by default. The generated configuration status at the top of this policy reflects whether either feature is configured in this build.
When the configuration status says Plausible is configured, it is used to measure aggregate readership and interactions with guides, tools, sharing controls, downloads, and visual embeds. The status identifies the pageview information, fixed event names and properties involved, links Plausible’s data policy, and states what the site’s event code deliberately excludes. Calculator inputs, watch details, email addresses, serial numbers, local search words, and free text are not sent in those custom events. A direct Plausible connection or a same-origin proxy changes the network route, not the analytics provider or purpose. Browser privacy controls, content blockers, and network settings provide additional choices.
When a newsletter is enabled, the form identifies the provider, links its privacy notice, and explains how to unsubscribe.
No advertising pixels, affiliate-conversion trackers, or cross-site behavioral advertising systems are currently configured by Enjoy Watches.
Interactive tools and site search
Enjoy Watches tools are designed to run in the browser. Values you enter into a calculator or decision aid are processed by JavaScript on your device and are not sent to Enjoy Watches by the site’s tool code. Reloading or closing the page normally clears those inputs unless the individual tool clearly states that it saves something locally.
Site search works similarly: your browser downloads a public search index and matches the words you type on the page. The site’s search code does not send the query to Enjoy Watches. A browser, device, extension, corporate network, or third-party security product can still process activity under its own rules.
Do not enter confidential personal or transaction information into a tool. The tools do not need a name, email address, account number, or full serial number to perform their educational calculations.
Cookies and browser storage
The current first-party Enjoy Watches code does not set analytics or advertising cookies. The core reading, search, and calculator experience does not require an account cookie.
The valuation research worksheet stores its checkbox progress in your browser’s local storage under an Enjoy Watches–specific key. That progress stays on the device unless your browser synchronizes site data, and it is not transmitted by the worksheet code. Use Clear worksheet or clear this site’s browser data to remove it. The other current calculators do not intentionally persist their inputs.
A hosting, security, or embedded third-party service could set a strictly functional or security-related cookie depending on deployment. If Enjoy Watches introduces non-essential cookies or any further persistent browser storage, the relevant notice and controls will be added as required.
External links and embedded services
Articles link to manufacturers, museums, auction houses, marketplaces, academic publishers, government bodies, and other sources. Following an external link sends a request to that site, which applies its own privacy policy. Enjoy Watches does not control its cookies, logs, accounts, or tracking.
The site does not currently require third-party video, social-media, or advertising embeds for ordinary article reading. If an embedded service is introduced, it may receive technical information when loaded and should be disclosed here or beside the embed.
Visual-guide pages offer attributed HTML that another publisher can use to request an Enjoy Watches–hosted SVG. When someone views that publisher’s page, the browser makes an ordinary image request to Enjoy Watches, so the hosting and network logs described above may receive the requested asset, IP address, time, device or browser information, and—unless suppressed—a referring page. The supplied embed code uses referrerpolicy="no-referrer" on the image to avoid sending the embedding page’s address. Publishers can instead link to the visual page or request permission for another reuse method.
Sharing and sale of personal information
Enjoy Watches does not sell or rent personal information. Information may be processed by providers needed to operate email, domain, hosting, security, and site delivery. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to protect the site or others, investigate abuse, comply with a valid legal requirement, or establish or defend legal rights.
This is not a promise to publish anyone’s correspondence. Identifiable reader submissions are not published without permission or another valid basis.
Retention and security
We aim to keep personal correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain editorial and security records, resolve disputes, or meet applicable obligations. Different providers may retain technical backups or security logs under their own schedules.
No internet or email system can be guaranteed completely secure. Use redaction and send only what is necessary. If a secure transfer is genuinely required for an editorial source, contact us first to discuss an appropriate method rather than attaching sensitive material without warning.
Your choices and questions
You may ask what personal information you have directly supplied to Enjoy Watches, request a correction, or request deletion where appropriate and subject to applicable obligations. Email hello@enjoywatches.com with Privacy request in the subject line. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns you, but will not ask for excessive identification.
Browser privacy controls, content blockers, and network settings may provide additional choices for third-party or hosting behavior. If the configuration status above says a feature is inactive, there is no corresponding site opt-out or newsletter unsubscribe process to use. If the newsletter is active, each message must provide an unsubscribe link.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be reflected in the updated date and, when appropriate, explained on this page. The policy should follow the site’s real behavior.
