Petermann Bédat is an independent watch brand associated with Petermann Bédat Sàrl, UID CHE-190.772.436, registered in Renens, Vaud, on 23 November 2017. The register-republication page lists Gaël Petermann and Florian Bédat in management and reports active status.

The founders’ interview describes meeting at Geneva watchmaking school, professional experience including A. Lange & Söhne, and their independent venture from 2017. It presents restoration and repair experience as part of the route to their own watches.

The republished 26 January 2022 SHAB notice records Gaël Petermann holding 120 and Florian Bédat 80 shares of CHF 100 after a transfer. These equal 60% and 40% of those 200 shares at that date, not an independently verified September 2026 cap table.

Republished SHAB notices record the address Rue des Entrepôts 3, Renens, from January 2024 and appointment of GRF Société Fiduciaire as auditor in June 2026. The latter is evidence of a recent corporate filing, not an ownership change.

The official brand site lists references 1967, 2941 and 1825. The 2025 founder interview records GPHG recognition for the 1967 in 2020 and for the 2941 chronograph in 2023; the awards are not used here to infer manufacturing origin.

The official 2941 page describes a monopusher split-seconds chronograph with a jumping minute counter and calibre 202; it credits a Comblémine dial. An in-house calibre description therefore must not be expanded into a claim that every part of the finished watch is internally manufactured.

In the July 2025 interview the founders describe a growing watchmaking team and outside advice while retaining decision-making authority. This is operational testimony, not proof that every adviser is a shareholder or that only two people manufacture the watches.
